Stopping to Reflect

There are times when it’s impossible to stop the brain from moving a thousand miles an hour.  Then, there are the days that being internalized and still is the baseline.  On those internalization days, a long thinking walk does my body, and my mind, good.

Enjoying a setting sun.  The picture perfect mirror image of naked Fall trees on a still body of water.  A grasshopper by my front door.

You never know when inspiration will strike.  You never know when you mind will spark and connect disparate things and make a concrete logical whole that begins your new path in life.  Taking a few moments, or even a few hours, to sit with oneself in Nature is wondrous.  Even if ‘Nature’ is the a stroll around the ‘hood.  It’s all good.  Everything serves to further…if you want it to be so.
